Helen Steel has been instrumental in the development of the shared value community in Australia since its establishment in 2011.
When the Shared Value Project was formally launched in February 2014, Helen was appointed Executive Director and tasked with driving the adoption and implementation of shared value strategies among leading companies in Australia.
In her first 12 months as Executive Director, she has established a strong advisory board and led a discussion with business leaders, practitioners and consultants about how to implement shared value within their organisations.
Helen brings 20 years of international experience and leadership across government, corporate and not-for-profit sectors to the role. With a breadth of experience covering business development, stakeholder engagement, membership campaigns, strategic collaboration, events management and cultural and knowledge exchange programs, Helen is known for her ability to harness opportunities and build networks of influence to shape positive change.
